Horizons Edge Ventures Inc. is a Saskatoon family shared-services company, based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It exists so five ventures can share one governance structure, one back office and one technology stack instead of each building its own — and so a family can put its name to all of them at once.
Care across a lifetime, and the technology that runs it.
Child care, licensed and full. The only arm with years of operating history, and the reason the rest exists.
Senior care, launching. The same referral network and the same standards, applied at the other end of a life.
Advisory and technology. Built first for our own ventures, because nothing on the market was built for an operator our size.
That is the honest answer to why a child care home, a senior care service, a consultancy, a software practice and a visual production studio belong in the same company. They are not a portfolio assembled from opportunities. They are what one family needed, built in the order it needed them.
Shared services
What a venture gets for sitting under this roof.
None of this was bought in. Each one was built because a regulated business needed it, then handed to the next venture.
Accountability
Every venture has a name against it.
Listed by what they are responsible for, not by title. At this size a title describes an ambition; a responsibility describes who answers the phone.
How we operate
Four rules we would rather be held to.
Say where each venture actually stands
Two trading, one launching, two being built. Presenting five arms as uniformly live is the fastest way to lose a partner who checks. The status meters on this site are the real ones.
Build it for ourselves first
Every service line was run inside our own businesses before it was offered outward. The governance, the policies, the software. That is the difference between practice and theory.
Each venture keeps its own name
A parent choosing infant care, an organisation buying advisory work and a developer commissioning aerial survey are not one audience. Each arm speaks in its own voice.
Do not claim what we cannot deliver
Infinite Horizons Visuals needs certified pilots and equipment we do not own, so it is described as being built, not sold. We would rather say that than take work we cannot honour.
