Horizons Edge Ventures Inc. is a Saskatoon family shared-services company, federally incorporated in November 2025 and based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It holds no equity in the family’s operating businesses. Each one is owned and run day to day by the person accountable for it, and works with HEVI under a written agreement for compliance, finance and brand support. That is how five very different businesses share one standard without losing their own names.
Care across a lifetime, and the skills that keep it running.
Licensed child care, run by Nazish. The first business, and where the family earned the trust every new venture is held to.
Non-medical home support, led by Areej, for seniors and for adults of any age living with illness, injury or disability or recovering at home, from people who understand their culture.
Creative media and drone mapping, led by Abeeha, beside an advisory practice that teaches what the family has learned.
That is the honest answer to why a child care home, a home support service, a creative studio, a consultancy and a technology arm sit under one name. Nobody assembled them from opportunities. They grew out of one family’s work, in the order the family was ready for them, and three of the five are led by its women.

Four operating, one taking shape. The status shown on every page of this site is the real one, and it changes only when the business does.
Put every agreement in writing
Each business works with HEVI under a documented agreement, with roles, standards and spending authority spelled out, so everyday decisions move quickly and the bigger ones get proper review.
Bring in voices from outside the family
As each business matures, independent directors will sit alongside family leadership. A family conversation, however good, is not the same thing as oversight.
Let the person accountable lead it
Three of our five businesses are led by women, each the person accountable for that business day to day. Leadership here follows responsibility, not title.
